Use data responsibly.

1. Purpose

This AUP is designed to protect SocialEnrich, our users, and the individuals whose data flows through our platform. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users of the SocialEnrich platform, API, MCP Server, and related services.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

3.1 Data Misuse

• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing enriched data as a standalone product
• Building a competing data enrichment or intelligence service using our data
• Bulk downloading or scraping data beyond your plan's intended usage
• Combining our data with other sources to create surveillance tools

3.2 Harmful Activities

• Sending unsolicited bulk emails, SMS, or messages (spam) using enriched data
• Harassment, stalking, doxxing, or intimidation of any individual
• Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any protected characteristic
• Creating fake social profiles or impersonating individuals
• Any activity that violates applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.)

3.3 Technical Abuse

• Circumventing rate limits, quotas, or access controls
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our algorithms
• Introducing malicious code, viruses, or security exploits
• Using automated tools to create multiple free accounts
• Sharing API keys or credentials with unauthorized parties

3.4 Legal Violations

• Any use that violates applicable local, national, or international law
• Processing data of EU/EEA residents without a valid legal basis under GDPR
• Using data for purposes that violate CCPA, PDPA, or other privacy regulations
• Activities related to money laundering, terrorism financing, or sanctions evasion

4. Data Handling Requirements

When using enriched data from SocialEnrich, you must:

• Respect opt-outs: Honor unsubscribe requests and data deletion requests promptly.
• Maintain security: Implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect enriched data.
• Limit retention: Do not retain enriched data longer than necessary for your stated purpose.
• Provide transparency: Inform data subjects about how their data is being used when required by law.
• Support data rights: Facilitate data subject access, correction, and deletion requests.

5. API & Integration Guidelines

• Respect the rate limits defined in your subscription plan.
• Implement exponential backoff for retry logic on rate-limited requests.
• Cache API responses appropriately (maximum 90 days) to minimize redundant calls.
• Do not use the API to systematically enumerate or harvest our entire database.
• Include proper error handling and do not ignore API error responses.
• Keep your MCP Server integration up to date with the latest version.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to:

We investigate all reports and take appropriate action, which may include account suspension or termination.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

• Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a written warning.
• Throttling: Rate limits may be reduced for excessive usage patterns.
• Suspension: Account access may be temporarily suspended pending investigation.
• Termination: Serious or repeated violations will result in permanent account termination.
• Legal Action: We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for damages caused by violations.
